Ormskirk Christadelphians have been supporting the Christadelphian Meal a Day Fund for over 30 years.
Recently we have been sponsors of Nalondo Special School for Children with disabilities in Kenya since its foundation nearly 20 years ago. Projects supported include feeding programmes; supply of clean water with a borehole, setting up a Health Care Team and a health service to meet the children’s complex physical needs.
We (via the fund) sponsor a feeding programme at Luuya Academy in Kenya which helps to provide two meals a day, breakfast and lunch, for the pupils. With our funds the Academy also bought a rain water storage tank.
Every year we have an update from MaD member, Annie Abson. This years presentation entitled “Luuya AcadLuuya Academy, COVID-19 and Hope” can be found by clicking here.
